Patara Beach is located in Kalkan, in the Mediterranean Turkey region. This sandy beach stretches for as long as the eye can see, isolated, quiet and peaceful, and with breathtaking views. Patara Beach is known for being right next to famous ancient ruins, like the Ancient Lighthouse or the Ancient Patara City. Walking and exploring around these historical landmarks is a must while on Patara Beach. It never gets crowded or noisy, and the water is shallow, with calm waves making it safe for swimming. To the left side of the beach, you can find a restaurant and a cafe; to the right end, there is a camping site with its own restaurant.

Ölüdeniz Beach is popular for being windy and a top spot for paragliding. Besides, while snorkeling on the crystal clear waters, you can spot marine turtles swimming around. To the right end of the beach there is a lagoon, with shallow waters and safer to swim, however it can be more crowded in that area. There are many dining options along the beach; restaurants, bars, cafes, as well as resorts and shops.

The beach is usually crowded and active in the evening; visit in the morning to avoid the crowd and enjoy quiet time on a calm beach. It can be slippery underwater; be careful when swimming.

This small beach, with bright blue waters surrounded by lush vegetation, is a stunning hidden gem with unforgettable views. To the left side of the beach, you can find a cave with an underwater tunnel, perfect for diving. You can also rent canoes and explore further away from the shore. It can get crowded on weekends and during high season, but other than that, the beach is quiet and peaceful. There are two campgrounds, one on each end of the beach, with great service and food.

The water is rather cold, but calm and shallow, safe for everyone to swim and play. There are a few restaurants and cafes nearby, and picnic areas plus good facilities at the beach. Ilıksu Plajı is usually quiet and empty, but it can be busy on weekends, especially during the summer months.
