Lønstrup Beach, Lonstrup

Beach is located in Lonstrup, in the Northern Jutland region of Denmark. This calm, dog-friendly beach, with gray-ish sand and sharp rocks breaking out from the water, offers a stunning scenery and peaceful atmosphere. To get to the beach, you can climb down the steps from the cliff; this way, you get views from different spots, all of them just as beautiful. There is a small shop and an ice cream place on the shore, you can bring your food and have a picnic, enjoying the sunrise or the sunset.

Rømø Beach, Tonder

Rømø Beach is located in Tonder, in the Rømø Island, off the western coast of the Southern Jutland region of Denmark. This wide beach with soft, brown-ish sand covered with seashells, and shallow waters, seems to stretch to infinity. A quiet place where you can relax as you walk along the shore, big enough for everybody even during the busiest hours. Some people come here to enjoy kite surfing; there is an ice cream shop nearby. Here, you can park your car right on the sand; avoid camping on the beach if you are not willing to pay the fine, which can be quite expensive.

Søndervig Beach, Ringkobing

Søndervig Beach is located in Ringkobing, in the southern coast of the Jutland region of Denmark. This long stretch of sand, with big rocks breaking out of the sand dunes, is perfect to relax in the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. You can explore the bunkers left after World War II, swim in the shallow water, and have a picnic on the shore. The waves are small, and there are lifeguards making sure everyone is safe. There are shops and restaurants nearby, and being a dog-friendly beach, you can walk your dog along the sand dunes.

Bisnap Beach, Hals

Bisnap Beach is located in Hals, in the eastern coast of the Jutland region of Denmark. This isolated,  sandy beach, surrounded with vegetation and pine trees, offers beautiful views of the flat horizon. The waters are shallow and safe for kids; you can walk for meters and still be knee-deep on the water. There are no restaurants or bars in the area, but there are many resorts nearby. This beach is great for relaxing on the quiet atmosphere, have a picnic in the soft sand.

Palm Beach, Frederikshavn

Palm Beach is located in Frederikshavn, in the northeast coast of the Jutland region of Denmark. White sand, palm trees, shallow water of a light blue color, and stunning views are what attract thousands of tourists and locals to this beach. The beach has an active atmosphere, and can be crowded during the day; visit early in the morning or at evening to avoid the crowd. With a port right next to it, you can see boats and yachts entering and leaving. There is a beach bar in the area, an ice cream shop nearby, and a restaurant on the port. Along the shore, you can find volleyball nets.

Blokhus Beach, Blokhus

With high sand dunes, as well as a flat shore, this dog-friendly offers beautiful views and perfect sceneries for photography. You can enjoy a peaceful walk, run with your dog, bike along the beach, and some people come here for kite-flying with their kids. There are shops, a cafe, and an ice cream parlour in the area. It can get crowded during summer since the water is warmer and suitable for bathing.

This man-made beach has the perfect mix of active and relaxing atmosphere, with stunning views and activities for everyone. During the summer, the water is great for swimming and windsurfing, but all year long you can play beach volleyball, cycle and walk along the tracks, and even skateboard. There are some food stalls and ice scream stores near the area, but cafes and restaurants are a bit too far. It gets crowded in the evening, around 5 P.M., especially in summer.

Østerstrand Beach, Federica

Østerstrand Beach is located in Federica, on the eastern coast of the Jutland peninsula of Denmark. This cozy beach, with soft golden sand and still waters, is a great spot to relax and get away from a busy life, with activities for everyone to enjoy. The water is calm and with small waves for swimming and playing, and the picturesque circular pier also serves as a safe spot for children to swim; during the summer, there are lifeguards on duty. You can find volleyball nets in the sand, an outdoor gym, and spots for bonfired with lodges to sit. There is a bar right at the beach, offering refreshing drinks, ice cream, coffee and snacks.

Østerstrand Beach is lovely and never gets too crowded, but it tends to be busy during weekend afternoons.
