It is safe for everyone to swim and there are playgrounds and different activities for kids. The active atmosphere is not suitable for relaxing, but it is perfect for a fun vacation with friends. There are many restaurants, beach bars and cafes nearby, all with amazing views towards the sea. It is usually really crowded during weekends and in summer.

Mesecev Beach is located in Portoroz, in the Coast and Karst region of Slovenia. This long pebbled beach is usually calm and peaceful, with stunning views and warm waters. The water is also crystal clear, perfect for diving and snorkeling. You have to climb down a flight of stairs from the cliff to arrive at Mesecev Beach. The beach is a popular spot and can get busy at midday, mostly on weekends but on some weekdays too. However, being too long, there is always a quiet and empty spot. Keep in mind that there are no restaurants or other dining places at the beach.

Since the road heading to the beach is hard to find, this spot is mostly frequented by locals, and it never get busy or noisy.

Keep in mind that this is a popular beach, and it tends to be busy during weekend afternoons, sometimes feeling crowded.

With a mountainous backdrop and a quiet atmosphere, this long pebbly beach is the perfect getaway from a busy life, where you get to enjoy untouched nature. The bright blue water is clear and shallow, safe for everyone to swim; however, the soil is rocky, so don’t forget your swimming shoes! To reach Bele Skale Beach, you need to walk around 20 minutes through the forest; for this reason, the beach is never crowded or busy. Keep in mind that there are no facilities at the beach, so make sure you bring your own food and everything you might need.
