Discover the World’s Best Travel Hacks & Hidden Gems & all it’s glory! 🌎🌄🏖️🌅

From 25, I decided to travel by myself, instead of waiting on my friends to pursue my dreams of travelling around the world. From making that first steps it’s allowed me to see so many places & I’ve collected so many ideas & experiences that I want to share with you. 🏖️🌅🌆

Currently I enjoy spending my time as a successful digital nomad (blogger, vlogger & entrepreneur) who has been to 6 continents. 🌎🌍🌏

THE BEST Places To Visit In Lesotho

The following list highlights some of the best places to visiting in Lesotho. So if you are in Lesotho, I recommend visiting the following:

  1. Liphofung Cave, Butha-Buthe, Lesotho
  2. Maletsunyane Falls, Maseru, Lesotho
  3. Maluti Mountains, Maseru, Lesotho
  4. Katse Dam, Thaba-Tseka, Lesotho
  5. Sehlabathebe National Park, Qacha Nek, Lesotho

See all places on Google Maps

1. Liphofung Cave, Butha-Buthe

This site is one of Lesotho’s smallest, but most interesting national heritage sites. Visitors can come and discover the unique history of the Liphofung Caves, where an integrated visitor centre now provides information on ancient Basotho kings and traditional Basotho craft culture. There are also many hiking trails in the area, as well as some good campsites.

2. Maletsunyane Falls, Maseru

Any time of the year is a good time to visit and photograph Maressoniane Falls. It’s a 5km drive from Semonkong. You can abseil down them (if you’re brave enough), and at 204 metres high, it’s the longest abseil in the world.

3. Maluti Mountains, Maseru

They are home to one of three ski resorts in southern Africa. The resort is a 4.5 hour drive from Johannesburg or Pretoria. The resort can accommodate approximately 320 people, offers one kilometre of trails and beginner trails and trails in the winter season (June to August).

4. Katse Dam, Thaba-Tseka

The Katse Dam is located in the Maluti Mountains of Lesotho and is now the largest double-arch dam in Africa. From here you can see the vastness of Lesotho, surrounded by lush vegetation, huge dams and the beauty that drains the water from this masterpiece.

5. Sehlabathebe National Park, Qacha Nek

Sehlabathebe National Park is located at an altitude of three thousand metres. Horseback riding, visiting some waterfalls and, most importantly, diving and relaxing. For the latter, this place is perfect. Red mountains, fresh air, almost no tourism. At the moment there is a hotel lodge which is comfortable but without electricity. The fire acts as heating.
