You can try snorkelling on the crystal waters, challenge yourself to complete the inflatable obstacle course, surfing, skiing, paragliding… There is definitely something for everyone. Of course, the beach has an active atmosphere and can get crowded; it is not quiet or relaxing, but a fun vacation spot. With lots of facilities, restaurants, cafes and stores, you will surely find what you need.

Rajska Plaza Beach is located in northern Rab Island, in the Kvarner region of Croatia. This safe white sandy beach, with shallow, clear water and stunning views to the mountains, is a favorite among families with small kids. You can walk for meters and still be knee-deep; however, once you get far enough, the crystal water is perfect for snorkelling. There are also water slides, pedal-boats available and even a mini golf course nearby. It gets busier and noisy around midday, especially with families with kids; but earlier in the morning and at evening the beach is empty and quiet. Around the area, you can find restaurants of all kinds, cafes and beach bars, resorts and a camping site.

It is a perfect quiet, empty beach to relax in the peaceful atmosphere, snorkel on the cool water, or dive from the surrounding cliffs. It gets crowded around 6pm; arrive earlier if you want to enjoy the isolated beach for yourself. There is a mini beach bar in the area, offering refreshing drinks and snacks; bring your food and beach supplies if you want to stay longer.

Dubovi Dol Beach, Hvar Island

To get there, you have to take a 10-minute hike down the hills; once you finish, you are rewarded with the incredible views the beach offers. Here, you can relax and sunbathe in the quiet atmosphere, or snorkel in the calm water. There is a restaurant in the area, and a small beach bar offering refreshing drinks and ice cream. However, there are no umbrellas available, make sure to bring your own.
