One of the best places to see flamingos in Kenya is Lake Bogoria. This park is less visited than other national parks. The main reason for this is to see the flamingos. During this time, safari vehicles will be waiting at the access area. It is very easy to walk down to the lake to get to the flamingos. This is a short walk that allows you to see flamingos up close. And you can enjoy the place as much as you want.

2. Amboseli National Park, Kajiado

One of its main attractions is the view of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. The climate is dry, so travellers will be able to see the magnificent esplanade and herds of elephants. This is a very beautiful park where you can see all kinds of wild animals such as buffalo, giraffe, wildebeest, gazelles, impala…. There are also predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas…

3. Kakamega Forest, Kakamega and Nandi

If you enjoy hiking and bird watching, the Kakamega Forest is a must on a 4 to 5 hour walk. This forest is one of the last remaining rainforests in Kenya and we call it the jungle. You can visit on your own and while it is easy to get lost, it also adds a bit of adventure.

4. Kiambethu Tea Farm, Kiambu

The history of this tea plantation dates back to 1910 when AB McDonell purchased the land it occupies. Five generations of tea have been cultivated in this plantation under the residence. Today, in addition to the tea plantations, you can visit farmhouses and beautiful gardens surrounded by large native forests.

5. Ngare Ndare Forest, Laikipia

A pleasant forest for walking or quad biking to observe countless animals, from herds of hyenas to elephants, as it is one of the corridors along which they have moved for hundreds of years. But for tourists or campers, the main attraction is the numerous crystal clear pools to swim in and enjoy.

6. Thomson Falls, Laikipia

It is considered one of the most popular tourist attractions for visitors to the African country, as it is home to some of the largest hippo pools in the world.

7. Nyali Beach, Mombasa

On the beach you can enjoy a variety of leisure activities, the most popular of which are reef diving and sea fishing. Just north of Nyali Beach is Haller Park, a zoo where you can see elephants and antelopes, monkeys and rhinos and even enter a reptile house. In the afternoon, when the beach is too hot, you can relax in the spa room.

8. Bomas of Kenya, Nairobi

This tourist town in Nairobi celebrates the traditional lifestyle and customs of the Kenyan tribes. Dances and songs from many Kenyan tribes are performed here. These events take place daily from 14:30 to 16:00 Monday to Friday and from 15:30 to 17:15 on weekends and public holidays. There is also a restaurant in this building. Here you can taste typical Kenyan cultural dishes.

9. Jamia Mosque, Nairobi

It is a beautiful building in typical Arab-Muslim style, preserving the classical Arab-Muslim architectural style with extensive use of marble and Qur’anic inscriptions. The mosque is one of the most important religious buildings in Kenya. Its three silver domes and twin towers are easily recognisable.

The park is located next to Nairobi’s central business district and is open to the public free of charge. The park offers a variety of recreational activities such as boat rides, perfect for hanging out with family and friends, a lunar theme park and quiet places to read. It has an artificial lake and an occasional venue for political and religious meetings.

11. Aberdare National Park, Nyeri

It is one of the most impressive wildlife reserves on the African continent. The thicket of thousands of trees in Aberdare Nature Park is a spectacle not to be missed when you enter this park. At Aberdare Park you will have the opportunity to stay in a ‘hut’, a hut close to nature, without the need for basic accommodation, allowing you to immerse yourself in the depths of nature. Africa.

12. Longonot, Rift East African

Longonot Volcano is one of the small beats, stretch your legs and enjoy the spectacular scenery from the top. From the top of Longonot Volcano, you can look out over stunning surroundings such as Lake Naivasha, Hell’s Gate and the Rift Valley.
