Sohar Beach Corniche is located in Sohar, in Northern Oman. This extensive sandy beach offers a serene atmosphere and stunning views, a great place to visit with family or friends. The long stretch of sand is a favorite spot for walking and jogging, and the waves are great to play in the water. There are plenty of shops in the area, as well as restaurants, cafes and accommodation along the beach. It tends to get busy around weekends, especially during the afternoon; visit early in the morning to avoid the crowd.

You can rent jet skis and try other watersports, or just enjoy playing in the waves. There is a restaurant and a café in the area, both with great coastal views; besides, you can have a barbecue at the beach. It is mostly frequented by locals, making it a quiet beach with no crowds.

You can see people taking walks or running along the beach, and some even cycling. There are restaurants and cafes on the area, and you can barbeque on the sand; avoid doing so on the grassy areas. Even though Qurum Beach is on the capital of Oman, it never gets unbearably crowded.

Camping overnight is a wonderful experience and totally worth it. Although the beach is never crowded, there might be a couple of people with you watching the sunset and staying to camp.

Both sandy and rocky, this extensive beach offers dramatic coastal views and a serene atmosphere, perfect to spend a relaxing day with friends or family. The water is shallow for a few meters, with waves making it a fun spot to play. A highlight of Sira Corniche is the Sera Tower, a castle built on top of a rock formation, and a favorite for photography. There are no restaurants along the beach, but you can bring your own food and enjoy a picnic or barbecue at the Sera Park; next to the park, there’s a children’s playground.
