Shikh Beach is located in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan. This extensive sandy beach is a great option to spend a fun day with family or friends. The water is shallow with a gentle slope, making it safe for everyone to swim. Besides, you can find a children’s playground; for these reasons, the beach is a favorite spot for families. There are a few restaurants along the beach. It can be busy during the afternoon, so visit early in the morning if you prefer quietness. Keep in mind that there is an entrance fee.

Mayak Beach, Baku

Mayak Beach is located in Shuvelan, in the Baku region of Azerbaijan. This popular beach offers soft sand covered in seashells, and crystal clear waters. The water is shallow and calm, safe for swimming, and comfortably warm. You can find a restaurant to the left end of the beach, and a hotel nearby. It tends to be busy during the afternoons, and it is especially crowded on weekends. There is a parking fee.

It can be busy during weekends, but it never gets crowded.

The beach is not a touristy spot, and there are no places to eat or stay at the beach; however, because of this, it never gets crowded or busy.

There are no facilities or places to eat in the area; make sure you bring everything you might need. It never gets crowded or busy.
