Shikh Beach is located in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan. This extensive sandy beach is a great option to spend a fun day with family or friends. The water is shallow with a gentle slope, making it safe for everyone to swim. Besides, you can find a children’s playground; for these reasons, the beach is a favorite spot for families. There are a few restaurants along the beach. It can be busy during the afternoon, so visit early in the morning if you prefer quietness. Keep in mind that there is an entrance fee.


Mayak Beach, Baku

Mayak Beach is located in Shuvelan, in the Baku region of Azerbaijan. This popular beach offers soft sand covered in seashells, and crystal clear waters. The water is shallow and calm, safe for swimming, and comfortably warm. You can find a restaurant to the left end of the beach, and a hotel nearby. It tends to be busy during the afternoons, and it is especially crowded on weekends. There is a parking fee.


Pirshagi Beach, Mashtaga

Pirshagi Beach is located in Mashtaga, in the Baku region of Azerbaijan. With soft golden sand and a quiet atmosphere, this beach is great for sunbathing and relaxing. The water is calm and safe for swimming. However, keep in mind that there are no places to eat or stay nearby; make sure you bring everything you might need. It can be busy during weekends, but it never gets crowded.


Dalga Beach, Mardakan

Along the beach, you can find a few volleyball nets and a soccer field. A small cafe offers meals and refreshing drinks, and to the left end of the beach, there is a resort/aquapark. There is an entrance fee that includes a sunbed and umbrella.

Nardaran Beach is located in Nardaran, in the Baku region of Azerbaijan. This stunning, quiet beach offers the perfect atmosphere to relax and disconnect from a busy life. The water is clear and calm but gets deep very quickly. You can relax as you go fishing and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The beach is not a touristy spot, and there are no places to eat or stay at the beach; however, because of this, it never gets crowded or busy.

The water gets deep very quickly, and on windy days the waves are strong; be careful when swimming. There are no facilities or places to eat in the area; make sure you bring everything you might need. It never gets crowded or busy.

The water is clean and safe for swimming, shallow, and with a gentle slope. You can find a few restaurants and resorts in the area. It never gets crowded, but can be busy during the weekend.


Emin Beach, Surakhani
