Grand Bassam Beach, Côte D’ivoire

Plage of Moya is located in Grand-Bassam. It is a sandy beach a little more yellowish, but the same with spectacularly blue water. It is common to find women, street vendors, who offer you some typical dishes, carry them in a very particular way, supported on their heads with a rolled fabric to hold them.

San Pedro beach is located in San Pedro. It is a pretty beach, with golden sand and water with little waves. Along its shore you will see several huts and little houses built with straw and some wooden sticks. The palm trees are there to protect you a little from the sun and also give you some delicious coconuts.

Assinie beach is located in Assinie. It is a very crowded beach, both by locals and tourists. It has a large number of shops where you can enjoy tasty typical food prepared by the natives themselves. In addition to spending a spectacular day in their wooden houses, with tables and chairs of the same material for your comfort.

Plage de Monogaga is located in Madé, in the Southwestern Forests region of Côte d’Ivoire. Extensive and peaceful, this sandy beach is backdropped by verdant vegetation, giving off stunning views. The water is calm and safe for everyone to swim. There are local food vendors in the area, but you can bring your own and enjoy a picnic. Keep in mind that the access road is difficult; however, this makes the beach usually uncrowded.

Plage de Lido is located in Abidjan, on the Lagunes region of Côte d’Ivoire. A beautiful, golden sandy beach lined by palm trees, with bright blue water and stunning coastal views. The waves can be strong, so be careful when swimming especially with small kids. There are a few restaurants in the area.

Farafina Beach is located in Grand-Bassam, in the Lagune region of Côte d’Ivoire. This picturesque beach, lined with palm trees and with its bright blue waters, is a great option to spend a calm beach day. There are many restaurants and resorts along the beach. It is fairly popular among locals, and it can get busy during the weekends; however, the beach is long enough to find a quiet spot.
