1. Bagaikan Lake, Bandarban

It is a beautiful mountain lake located in the mountains in Bandarban with a combination of mountain view and meadows with tall green grasses and colourful flowers creates a wonderful picture. The lake is also famous for its pure water that has a crystal clear view and reflects the tableau of beauty surrounding it like a mirror.

It is a beautiful waterfall, it is about 3 hours walk from Remakri which is not a very popular site so the waterfalls are almost never crowded, making it an incredible opportunity to enjoy one of the most iconic landscapes of Bangladesh.


3. Lalbagh Fort, Dhaka

The fortress is a three-story structure with a slender spire at the south gate and many hidden passageways and mosques within the massive structure. Monuments at Fort Lalberg include the Tomb of Pari Bibi, the Court of Justice and Nawab Shaista Khan’s Hummam Khan (now a museum). The fortress was the scene of bloody battles during the First War of Independence. The historical site of this place is Mughal and, in fact, this fort houses a museum of Mughal clothing and weapons.


4. Star Mosque, Dhaka

It is a beautiful mosque that was built in the early 19th century and is covered in star mosaics. It has a reflecting pool, marble domes and other iconic religious architecture that you can see on your own or as part of a tour group in Old Dhaka. Since this is a working mosque, it is not recommended to visit the mosque as a tourist during prayer times, non-Muslims can visit this site outside prayer times by asking the caretaker to come in and visit.


5. Khoiyachora Waterfalls, Chittagong

Khoiyachora Falls has a total of nine main waterfalls (cascades) and many isolated passes. Since the spring is located in the mountains, it is not possible to drive directly to the top of the spring. Villages near the springs can be reached via the Dhaka-Chittagong highway or on foot.

These beautiful and peaceful waterfalls are located in the forest of the Rajkandi reserve, with a drop of approximately 135-160 feet. It is a place where you can find the real taste of adventure, very popular and special for hiking and spending a day in contact with nature.


7. Madhabkunda Waterfalls, Moulvibazar

It is one of the largest waterfalls in Bangladesh and a popular tourist attraction in the region. The waterfall is located within the 267-hectare Madhabkunda Ecological Park. The large boulders, surrounding forest and adjacent stream attract many visitors for picnic parties and day trips. On the way to the waterfall, you will see the green beauty of tea plantations, rolling hills and zigzagging paths through the hills on the way, which makes the trip more interesting.

It is popular with all tourists who love nature and love the scenic beauty of nature. With the dramatic Pottery Hills of Durgapur as a backdrop, the Someshwari River is at the centre of the picturesque surroundings of the region. In fact, Bilisili can provide a royal experience for all tourists visiting the place. In addition to the natural beauty, Bilisili has many tourist destinations. The ruins of Somapura vihara are the largest monumental remains of the Pala dynasty and are considered one of the greatest archaeological treasures of Bangladesh. A guided tour of Somapura Mahavihara can take between 2 and 3 hours, because the site is composed of more than 170 rooms. It also includes a tour to a museum where pieces and objects belonging to this ancient meditation centre are exhibited.

The Sajek Valley is one of Bangladesh’s fastest growing tourist attractions, located between the foothills of the Kasarung Range, known as the Queen of Hills, and the Rangamati rooftops. The range of beautiful mountains and valleys of white cottony clouds will surely fascinate you. Sajak is a wonderful place surrounded by three types of nature. Please note that if you want to go to Sajek, you must get permission from the Bagerhat police or military camp.

Pangthumai Waterfall has a different aura that can only be experienced by visiting the place. It attracts all kinds of tourists, from those who like to relax in a quiet place and enjoy the scenery, to those who enjoy hiking. In addition, for those who want to take pictures of beautiful places and nature photographers to keep their memories, they can rent a boat for a small fee and approach the waterfall.


12. Ratargul Swamp Forest, Sylhet

One of the most special and interesting places in Bangladesh. This freshwater swamp forest is unique in the country and one of the few types of forest in the world. You can hire a boat ride with a very friendly guide who will tell you very interesting details of the place. It is recommended to visit during the rainy season that lasts from May to September. The boat trip lasts about 3 hours and is a lot of fun.
