Khalaktyrsky Beach, Kamchatka Krai

Khalaktyrsky Beach is located in Kamchatka Kai, in the Russian Far East region. This isolated beach, with black volcanic sand that stretches for kilometers, is a unique place to relax. The beach is quiet and empty, and once summer arrives, the sand becomes hot and the beach is perfect to sunbathe. Khalaktyrsky Beach is natural and almost untouched by men; however, this also means there are no facilities nearby, so make sure you bring everything you might need.

Beach Laskoviy, St Petersburg

Beach Laskoviy is located in St. Petersburg, in Northwest Russia. Soft golden sand is backdropped with a verdant forest in this dog-friendly beach, with picturesque sculptures and stunning views. The beach has a very natural feeling, making it a great place to relax and even meditate. There are volleyball nets set up and playgrounds for kids, and the beach is never too crowded. Around, you can find restaurants and snack bars, as well as barbecue areas where people enjoy with family and friends.

Amber Yantarny, in Kaliningrad Oblast, Northwestern Russia. With soft white sand and cool waters, this popular beach is a favorite among families with small kids. The water is shallow and has calm waves, making it safe for everyone to swim. Besides, you can find a playground for kids to have fun. The beach is usually quiet and empty, but it can get very busy during weekends; however, it is wide enough to allow space for everyone. There are some cafes and a beach bar at the beach, with friendly staff and great food.

Repino Beach, Repino

You can find a café in the area, and spots for barbecues. Padun Beach is usually calm and quiet during weekdays, but it tends to be busy on weekends, especially during warm summer days.

City Beach, Samara

The water is shallow with small waves, safe for swimming and great for playing in the river water; there are lifeguards on duty during the day. You can find a few restaurants, cafes, and stores around the city, just a short walk away from the shore; besides, there are bicycle and scooter rentals. The beach is long and spacious, but it tends to get busy during weekends, especially on warm days; visit early in the morning to avoid the noise and crowded feeling.

Sochi Beach, Krasnodar
