The water is crystal clear, perfect for snorkeling, with fish, sea turtles and stingrays swimming near the shore. Hapuna Beach is also popular for having great waves for surfing and bodyboarding. There is usually a shaved ice cream truck in the area, and a small cafe near the parking lot. However, you can bring your own food and enjoy a picnic on the green areas.
