Cape Point Beach is located in Cape Point. Is one of the most family-friendly resorts in The Gambia, and here the wide, beautiful strip of sand is surrounded by mature palm trees, grasses and straw umbrellas. You can also see some basalt rocks strategically located along part of the coast to counteract sand erosion.

Bijilo Beach is located in Bijilo National Park. There is a 4.5 km nature trail in the park that takes visitors through the various forest habitats, coastal scrub and sand dunes, and there is also a “straight” trail that crosses the scrub and forest near the beach, often known as the “ornithological trail”. The park is home to various species such as green monkeys, Temminck’s red colobus, Campbell’s mona monkey and patas.

Sanyang Beach is located in Sanyang, south of the Gambia River, in the Gambia. This is an extensive stretch of soft white sand and clear waters backdropped by palm trees. The waters are calm and safe for swimming, clear enough to spot fish without a snorkel. Along the beach, you can find restaurants offering fresh seafood. During the weekends, the beach becomes a favorite spot for partying; visit on a weekday to avoid the crowds.

Gunjur Beach is located in Gunjur, south of the Gambia River, in the Gambia. Serene and peaceful, this extensive white sandy beach is perfect to relax and disconnect from a busy life. With its shallow, calm waters, Gunjur Beach is safe for everyone to sim. To the left end of the beach, it gets rocky and the view is more dramatic; there, you can find the Gunjur Mosque. It is mostly frequented by locals for its religious and spiritual significance. You can find a few eateries to the right end of the beach.

Tallinding Beach is located in Serrekunda, south of the Gambia Rives, the Gambia. This unique beach stands along a stream of the Gambia River, surrounded by mangrove forests and with a small sandy hill in the center. Of course, the river water is colder and has strong undercurrents; however, it is still fun to swim where the river is shallow and safe. There are no facilities at the beach, so make sure you bring everything you might need. Since it is not a touristy place, Tallinding Beach never gets busy and is always the perfect place to relax.

Senegambia Beach is located in Serrekunda, south of the Gambia River, the Gambia. This popular, long sandy beach is lined with thatched umbrellas and backdropped by palm trees, offering breathtaking sunset views. The strong wind creates rather strong winds, but the water is shallow and safe for swimming. Here, you can spot many bird species and even monkeys. There are many restaurants and accommodation along the beach and in the town nearby. It tends to get busy during the weekends, but mostly by those visiting the resorts.
