The following list highlights some of the best beaches in Kuwait. So if you are in Kuwait, I recommend visiting the following:

Marina Beach

Marina Beach, Salmiya

Address – Marina Mall, Salmiya,  Kuwait

Marina Beach is located in Salmiya, to the southwest of Kuwait City. It is a clean and peaceful beach mostly crowded during weekends and holidays. Around, you can find some restaurants and even a mall, and there are many water sports and games you can enjoy. The Marina Park next to the beach is perfect for picnics and has many green spots.


Agaila Beach Club, Salem Sabah

Agaila Beach Club is located in Salem Sabah, in eastern Kuwait. It is a clean beach with calm waters, a favorite spot for family gatherings and picnics. You can even bring your own barbeque and grill food on the shore. It can be a bit crowded most of the time, but the weather and atmosphere are still enjoyable. On Friday nights, a band plays live music, and there is a playground where children can have fun.

Anjafa Beach, Salwa

Anjafa Beach is located in Salwa, in eastern Kuwait. The water is clean and calm, good for swimming, but be careful of rocks underwater. This is another top spot for families, with green areas for picnics and playgrounds for kids. It can be crowded but it’s still a great place to walk and jog. Avoid barbeque and smoking on this beach.

Shuwaikh Beach is located in Kuwait City, in the Al Asimah Governorate of Kuwait. This picturesque, sandy beach offers stunning views and activities for everyone to enjoy. The water is not suitable for swimming, but the expense of sand is perfect for walking and sunbathing. There is a children’s playground, a gym and many interesting places to visit such as museums and cultural centers. You can also find restaurants and stores around the city. It’s popular beach and can be busy during the day, especially on weekends; however, the beach is extensive enough to allow space for everyone.

Mahboula Public Beach is located in Mahboula, in the Ahmadi Governorate of Kuwait. This white sandy beach is a great getaway from a busy life, with a quiet atmosphere and stunning sunrise views. The water is calm, with small waves making safe for swimming, and you can go fishing in the designated area. There are a few restaurants and cafes in the area. Most visitors tend to arrive in the evening, so it can be busy around this time, especially during the weekends.

Fahaheel Beach is located in Fahaheel, in the Ahmadi Governorate of Kuwait. Wide and extensive, this white sand beach is lined with palm trees, offering stunning panoramic views and a laid-back atmosphere perfect to hang out with friends. The water is not suitable for swimming, but the warm weather is great for sunbathing and relaxing. There are also volleyball nets and a basketball court in the area, as well as paved paths for walking and jogging. There is a restaurant and a cafe nearby, and grassy areas perfect for picnics. It can be busy during weekends, but the beach is extensive enough and it never feels crowded.

Messilah Beach is located in Messilah, in the Mubarak al-Kabeel Governorate of Kuwait. A lovely beach with soft sand verdant trees offering natural shade, perfect to have a fun beach day. The water is shallow and safe for swimming, and you can find a water park right at the beach where you can have fun with family and friends. There is a restaurant nearby, as well as barbecue areas and picnic tables. Keep in mind that there is an entry fee; however, the beach is rarely crowded.

Fintas Public Beach, Abu Al Hasaniya

Fintas Public Beach is located in Abu Al Hasaniya, in the Mubarak al-Kabeel Governorate of Kuwait. With soft sand and a quiet atmosphere, this beach is a great option to disconnect from a busy life and admire the stunning scenery. The water is clear and calm, however there are sharp rocks underwater; be careful when swimming, and always use swim shoes. There are restaurant in the area, and accommodation nearby. It’s not a touristy beach, and it’s mostly frequented by locals, so it rarely gets crowded or busy.
