Sudersand Beach is located in Farö Island, just off the northern coast of Gotland Island. Soft white sand stretches as far as the eye can see in this peaceful, isolated beach, with shallow waters surrounded by nature only. The beach has great waves for surfing, and you can get your first lessons in the beach shop located in the area. However, if you’re looking for a relaxing day, head to the same shop for yoga lessons or a massage. Along the beach you can find some small bars, and a restaurant near the camping area. It can get busy around midday on weekends and sunny days.

Boda Beach is located in Byxelkrok, in Öland Island, off the eastern coast of Sweden. With soft sand of a beautiful white color, Böda Beach stretches for kilometers, giving off vibes of an unspoilt beach. Along the beach, you can find volleyball nets and soccer goals posts set up in the sand. There are some campgrounds in the area, with great facilities and friendly staff, where you can enjoy the night at the beach. Being such a popular beach, it can get busy, especially on weekends; however, the beach is extensive enough to allow space for everyone.

Smedsuddsbadet Beach, Stockholm

Smedsuddsbadet Beach is isolated, calm and peaceful, perfect for swimming on a hot summer day. There is a park where you can enjoy a picnic or a barbeque with family and friends; during the summer, there are food trucks parked nearby. Of course, it tends to get crowded on sunny days and weekends, but it is still an amazing spot to admire a beautiful view.

The beach is usually crowded and busy; visit early in the morning during off-season to enjoy the peace and quiet. Avoid swimming without proper shoes since there can be sharp rocks underwater.

There are many restaurants and cafes nearby, and even a mini-golf course. It can get crowded and noisy around midday, especially on sunny days; arrive early in the morning if you want to avoid the crowd.

Tylösand Beach is located in Halmstad, in the western coast of Götaland, the southern region of Sweden. A long and wide beach with golden sand and shallow waters, considered one of Sweden’s best beaches (if not the best!). Tylösand Beach has an active atmosphere, busy with many people visiting every day, but only gets crowded in the evening, around 5-6PM. However, you can still find a quiet spot on the extensive beach to sunbathe and relax. There are restaurants near the left end and small kiosks along the beach selling ice cream and snacks.

It gets crowded in the afternoon since the sun warms up the beach; arrive in the morning to enjoy a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. There is even a sand sculpture contest that you can attend during the summer.

The water is deep and there are strong undercurrents; be careful when swimming, especially with kids. During summer, the beach gets busier, but the sand stretches for long enough to allow a quiet space for everyone.

The beach is dog-friendly, and many people pick this place to walk their dogs in the peaceful atmosphere. If you take your dog with you, be careful with the ducks that sometimes walk around the beach. There is a restaurant and a cafe in the area, and a minigolf course nearby. Keep in mind that, during the summer, it tends to get crowded around midday.
