The following list highlights some of the best beaches in Pitcairn Islands. So if you are in Pitcairn Islands, I recommend visiting the following:
Henderson Island, Pitcairn Islands
Address – Henderson Island, Pitcairn Islands
Google Maps Link – 24°21’10.2″S 128°18’20.2″W
Henderson Island is the largest of the Pitcairn Islands, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This isolated island is a bird watching paradise, with many endangered bird species landing and nesting on the forests. The three main beaches in Henderson Island have soft white sand and caves along the shores; they are all located to the northern coast of the island. Of course, they are empty and quiet all year long, perfect for a relaxing holiday, far away from the rest of the world. There are no facilities or restaurants on the island; bring everything you might need.
Oeno Island, Pitcairn Islands
Address – Oeno Island, Pitcairn Islands
Google Maps Link – 23°55’23.5″S 130°44’22.2″W
Oeno Island is a small coral atoll, part of the Pitcairn Islands. The beaches around Oeno Island are wide, with white sand backdropped by verdant forests. The island is so small that you can walk around the coast in just one day. Being so remote and isolated, Oeno Island is great to spend a relaxing vacation on a quiet beach with amazing views. Off the northern coast, there is a smaller island called Sandy Island.
Ducie Island, Pitcairn Islands
Address – Ducie Island, Pitcairn Islands
Google Maps Link – 24°40’38.0″S 124°47’50.9″W
Ducie Island is a small and remote coral atoll, part of the Pitcairn Islands. This atoll is made up of four islets: Arcadia, the largest of them all, is covered with verdant trees, where you can spot different kinds of seabirds; Pandora and Edwards are made of sand and sharp broken corals; and Westward is completely covered with broken corals and shells. All of them offer stunning views, nothing short of paradisiacal islands. During low tide, you can walk from Arcadia and reach the other islets. Ducie Island is farther away from the rest of the Pitcairn Islands; for this reason, the atoll is rarely visited and remains empty and quiet all year long. Avoid swimming since there are sharks and poisonous fish in the lagoon.
