Plage des Sablettes is located in Menton, in the southeastern coast of France. Both sandy and pebbled, this safe beach with warm, shallow water, is a favorite among families. You can sunbathe and relax, while kids play in the sand, or swim in the clear waters as you admire the view. There are volleyball nets set up on the shore, and you can play with your friends, family or strangers. Around the beach, you can find a wide range of restaurants and bars; Italian or Japanese food, ice cream stores, pizza places, or typical French dishes.

This is a picturesque pebbled beach, with clear blue waters, with hills on both sides, and stunning views over a flat horizon. The clear water is perfect for snorkeling, and you can spot small, colorful fish swimming around. There are many restaurants nearby, offering all kinds of food; tacos, kebabs, pizzas, typical Mediterranean food, there is something for everyone. The beach can get crowded during weekends, throughout the whole day.

Plage de Passable is located in St Jean Cap Ferrat, in the southeastern coast of France. This is an interesting beach, with a rocky shore, and clear waters of a beautiful blue color. Here, you can enjoy many water activities, such as scuba diving, snorkeling, and even renting a kayak to explore around the beach. There is a restaurant at the right end of the beach, with amazing views over the beach. However, there are not many facilities, making the beach rather unknown to tourists.

This beach is rather unknown, and not many people visit throughout the year, leaving the beach isolated and peaceful. In the restaurant at the beach you can enjoy a tasty meal with stunning views over the sea.

Plage des Fourmis Beach, Beaulieu Sur Mer

The warm water is great to swim and to go snorkeling, but the soil is rocky; bringing swim shoes is a must. This is not a touristy spot; there are no facilities, which makes Plage des Fourmis the perfect beach to relax and get away from the active city life. However, there are great restaurants and cafes nearby.

Hawk Beach (Plage du Buse), Roquebrune

Hawk Beach or Plage du Buse is located in Roquebrune, in the southeastern coast of France. This hidden pebbled beach, with clear waters and a calm atmosphere, is perfect for a relaxing morning jog. It can get crowded during summer, but it is rather empty and quiet the rest of the year. The water is warm and clear, great to enjoy snorkeling and spot different kinds of colorful fish. However, there are rocks underwater; make sure you bring proper shoes. To the western end, you can find a beach bar offering great food with stunning views.

Plage du Golfe Bleu Beach, Roquebrune

Both sandy and pebbled, this beach is enclosed on both sides by verdant hills, and offers stunning views over a flat horizon and bright blue waters. Since the beach is not a touristy spot, it is still unknown, quiet and never crowded. To the east side of the beach, there is a zone where clothing is optional. Besides a resort located right on the beach, there are no facilities around. From October to May, the beach becomes a paragliding landing spot.

Larvotto Beach is located in Les Plages, in eastern Monaco. This is a beautiful man-made beach, with white sand and pebbles, and clear turquoise waters, offering a calm atmosphere to relax. The beach is shallow, with a handrail leading into the water, making it safe to swim for the elderly and people with walking disabilities. This wide beach is divided in a public and a private zone, with great facilities and restaurants on both sides. There are pebbles underwater; avoid swimming without proper shoes.

Plage Mala is located in Cap d’Ail, in the southeastern coast of France. With sand, pebbles, and rocks, this secluded beach offers clear, turquoise water, and beautiful sunset views. There is a rather difficult hike to get to the beach, with stairs to climb down and narrow passages, making it hard to access and empty on most days. However, on weekends it can get crowded. With proper shoes, you can swim on its calm waters, or enjoy paddle boarding and kayaking around the beach. There are a couple of restaurants and beach bars in the area.
