Boating Lagoon Beach is located on the northern side of Kirimati Island or Christmas Island, part of the Kiribati archipelago. The beach has soft white sand with turquoise waters, giving off pristine views on a paradisiacal spot. Boating Lagoon Beach is isolated all year round, and there are great chances of you having the beach all to yourself. Enjoy the relaxing, quiet atmosphere by swimming on the warm waters or sunbathing on the soft sand. Avoid visiting from January to April since this marks the rainy season around Kiribati. There are stones underwater, so keep in mind to bring proper swimming shoes.

This is a rocky beach, with crystal clear waters and stunning scenic views, especially during sunset. The beach stands 6km west of Boating Lagoon Beach, and it is just as quiet and relaxing. London Beach has great waves for surfing and bodyboarding, but it is still safe for swimming. There are some food stalls nearby, as well as a resort with a restaurant right on the beach. Avoid visiting in April, when heavy rain pours down almost every day.
Temaiku Sunrise Beach, Tarawa

The water is clear and shallow, with calm waves for swimming and playing; keep in mind that some areas are rocky, so make sure to bring swimming shoes to avoid accidents. Facilities are scarce, but you can bring your own food, drinks and supplies. It is usually empty and peaceful, perfect to unwind and relax.

Standing southeast of Washington Island, this pebbly beach is backdropped by palm trees and littered with big stones, offering beautiful coastal views and a serene atmosphere. The sea is clear and shallow, but the entrance to the water is rocky and uncomfortable; make sure to bring swimming shoes. There are no facilities at the beach, but you can bring your own food and drinks and have a picnic on the pebbly shore. This is a great and peaceful spot to relax and disconnect, and it never gets busy or crowded.
