Vazon Beach is located on the northern coast of Guernsey. With more sand than rocks and pebbles, and bright blue waters with good waves, this beach is a favorite among surfers. The beach is ideal for long, relaxing walks, and it is safe to swim in the cool water. At the surfing school in the area, you can get your first lessons with amazing instructors. There is a cafe on the beach and a restaurant near the parking space. Vazon Bay is usually empty and quiet, only getting crowded in the afternoon during weekends.
L’Eree Beach, L’Erée

L’Eree Beach is located on the western coast of Guernsey. This empty stretch of white sand, with beautiful sunset views, is perfect to relax and get away from the busy city life. Since the water is shallow and calm, families with small kids tend to visit this beach. To get to the sand, you have to go down a small flight of stairs, with slipways on the sides to allow access to wheelchairs and strollers. There are an Indian and Fish & Chips restaurants nearby, as well as resorts and hotels.
Cobo Bay Beach, Côbo

Cobo Bay Beach is located on the northern coast of Guernsey. This long, winding beach has white sand and bright blue waters, with rock adding to the scenery. The water is shallow and safe to swim, and during low tide, you can walk further into the sea with water at ankle level. The beach is usually empty, only getting crowded on weekends, especially sundays. Being so quiet and long enough to allow space for everyone, Cobo Bay is perfect to have a relaxing day and admire an unforgettable sunset. There are restaurants, cafes, stores and a supermarket along the road.
Grand Rocques Beach, Cobo

Grand Rocques Beach is located in Cobo, right next to Cobo Bay Beach, in the northern coast of Guernsey. A dog-friendly beach, with soft white sand beach and rocky areas, clear water and stunning scenery. During sunset, the beach becomes perfect for pictures. There are rock pools with small fish where children can safely swim and have fun. To the right side of the beach, you can find a small beach kiosk offering drinks and ice cream. During the summer months, the parking lot gets usually crowded, however, the beach is long enough to allow space for everyone.
Fermain Beach, Fermain

Fermain Beach is located on the eastern coast of Guernsey. This pebbled beach, small and enclosed, backdropped with verdant trees, is a great lonely spot to relax. There is a cafe at the beach, with tasty food and refreshing drinks, and a stunning view over the beach and sea. Even though the cafe is busy most days, not many people walk down to the beach, so it is usually empty and quiet. Being on the route to the airport, you can see airplanes flying low over the beach as you swim in the clear waters.
Pembroke Beach, L’Ancresse

Pembroke Beach is located in L’Ancresse, on the northern coast of Guernsey. This extensive flat beach is a great option to get away from a busy life, with soft sand and warm weather for sunbathing and relaxing. The water is shallow but cold, and although it’s not suitable for swimming, the stretch of sand is perfect for walking, with stunning views for photography. You can find a restaurant, a cafe, and a small kiosk at the parking lot, serving meals, snacks, drinks and ice cream. Pembroke Beach is part of the L’Ancresse Common, a protected area with verdant fields and historical spots, making this spot usually uncrowded and quiet.
Portelet Beach, Torteval

It never gets crowded or busy, but most people visit during the weekends, especially in the afternoon.

To get to the shore, you need to climb down a long flight of stairs; for this reason, not many people visit the beach, making it an unspoiled place to enjoy solitude. There are some hotels and restaurants in the area, but no facilities at the beach.

Even during the busiest weekends, the beach is extensive enough to allow space for everyone, so it never feels crowded or noisy.
Chouet Beach, L’Ancresse

Remote and picturesque, this lovely beach is an amazing spot to visit with family or friends, offering stunning views and an extensive coast where dogs are allowed. The water is shallow, with a rocky headland acting as a natural wavebreaker, and making this a safe spot for everyone to swim. There is a children’s playground to the left end of the beach, as well as a restaurant and a small kiosk near the parking lot where you can get ice cream and milkshakes. Chouet Beach is usually frequented by local families, and it never feels busy or gets overly crowded.
