Solarsuit Beach is located in Disko Island, off the shore of Western Greenland. This is a stunning beach of volcanic black sand, with unique views of icebergs and reddish mountains, ready to give you an unforgettable experience. If you visit during the summer, the beach and surrounding mountains become the perfect hiking spot; you might even spot humpback and fin whales in the distance. During winter, the water is frozen and the black sand is covered in white snow, turning the beach into a dog sledding paradise. Siorarsuit Beach is quiet and peaceful, never getting too crowded and with only a small cafe in the area.
