Point Denis Beach

Point Denis Beach, Libreville

Address – River Lodge, Libreville, Gabon

Point Denis beach is located in River Lodge, Libreville. It is a quiet beach of golden sand and palm trees, with several shrubs that decorate the landscape. The beach has some sun loungers available for visitors and also offers delicious seafood for you to enjoy. It’s a pretty nice beach, maybe you’ll even meet some fishermen on the shore.


Lycée Leon MBA Beach, Libreville

Lycée Leon MBA Beach is located in Libreville, in the Coastal Plain region of Gabon. A picturesque sandy beach, lined with palm trees and offering a calm atmosphere on weekdays, and a more active vibe on the weekends. During the weekends, volleyball nets are set up on the sand, and jet ski rentals are available. There are a few restaurants and beach bars nearby, as well as places to stay. It tends to be busy all day long, but only feels crowded during weekends afternoons and evenings.


Pongara Beach, Pongara National Park

Pongara Beach is part of the Pongara National Park, in the Coastal Plain region of Gabon. Remote and quiet, this wild beach has dark sands backdropped by an extensive forest, offering an unforgettable view. The forest is home to monkeys and different species of birds. On the other hand, the water is shallow and calm, safe for everyone to swim and perfect for a relaxing bath, and with a coral reef making it a great snorkeling spot. Since it is part of the Pongara National Park, the beach is clean and well protected; however, there are no facilities or places to eat in the area.


Coco Beach, Gabon

Coco Beach is located in Cocobeach, in the Coastal Plain region of Gabon. Isolated and remote, this white sandy beach is backdropped by a verdant forest, giving off stunning views everywhere you look. The weather and atmosphere offer a unique spot for sunbathing. There is a resort in the area. The beach is not popular, and remains isolated all year long, mostly visited by locals.


Sogara Beach, Port-Gentil

Beach Sogara is located in Port-Gentil, in the Coastal Plain region of Gabon. With its soft white sand and verdant palm trees, this calm beach offers the unique feeling of a paradisiacal beach. The water is clear and shallow, safe for swimming and warm enough for a relaxing bath. There is a restaurant in the area with live music performances. Keep in mind that it can get crowded on Sundays.
