Pärnu Beach, Pärnu

Pärnu Beach is located in the Pärnu Bay, in the West Estonia region. A stretch of golden soft sand, with stunning views over the horizon, long enough so that it never feels crowded. The water is usually too cold to swim, but during summer it gets warmer; make sure to check the weather before your visit. Some restaurants, beach bars, cafes and resorts are scattered around the area, all with great staff and amazing service. There is a soccer field nearby, open to the public, with a gym and a sauna; besides, you can visit Pärnu Mud Baths.
Pirita Beach, Tallinn

Pirita Beach is located in the capital city of Tallinn, in North Estonia. White sand and calm waters backdropped with a lush forest, Pirita Beach is the longest beach in Estonia. The beach is busier in the evening since people arrive to admire the sunset; however, it never gets crowded. There are benches and swings along the beach, a beach volleyball net is set up, and there is an outdoor gym. You can find restaurants and small food stalls around the beach, as well as resorts with spas and other great services.
Paralepa Beach, Haapsalu

Paralepa Beach is located in Haapsalu, in mainland West Estonia and Islands. A small, quiet beach, with golden sand and rocky areas, and shallow, warm waters. This beach is perfect to relax and disconnect from the busy city; besides, it is safe for everyone. There are walking trails along the shore, to enjoy long walks and admire the beautiful scenery. With a playground in the area, kids can have fun as you sunbathe on the sand. Near the parking lot, there is a restaurant, a bar and a spa.
Narva-jõesuu Beach, Ida-viru County

Narva-jõesuu Beach is located in Ida-viru County, in East Estonia, near the border with Russia. An isolated, white sand beach that stretches for kilometers, with shallow waters and a quiet atmosphere. There is a hiking area, restaurants, small cafes and beach bars, as well as resorts, hotels and spas. During summer, there are more people around the beach, but being so long, it never gets too crowded. Keep in mind that there are no sunbeds available.
Võsu Beach, Lääne-viru County

Võsu Beach is located in Lääne-viru County, part of the Lahemaa National Park, in North Estonia. With lush trees backdropping the white sand, this beach is popular and has an active atmosphere. Along the beach, you can find swings, both in the sand and near the shore, and walking trails you can follow to admire the view. During the summer months, there are more cafes and food stalls open, and the beach can get crowded and noisy. But all year long, the beach is quiet and relaxing, with a playground for children to enjoy.
Stroomi Beach, Tallinn

Stroomi Beach is located in the capital city of Tallinn, in North Estonia. With the softest sand and shallow water, Stroomi Beach is my favorite in Estonia. There is a basketball court and a volleyball net set up, there are playgrounds for kids, and the beach is perfectly windy for windsurfing. You can head to the restaurant for a nice meal, or bring your own food for a picnic or barbecue. It gets busier around 2 PM and 6 PM, but on weekends it can be crowded most of the day, especially in summer.
Tuhkana Beach, Pammana

Tuhkana Beach is located in Pammana, in the northern coast of the Saaremaa Island, in West Estonia and Islands. A thin stretch of white sand and rocks with warm water and calm waves, backdropped with verdant trees. The water gets deep quickly, and the shore is the safest for kids. There are volleyball poles in the area to set up your own net, you can camp on the shore, explore the forest and swim in the clear water. Keep in mind that there are no facilities, restaurants or stores; bring everything you might need for the day.
Kabli Beach, Pärmu County

Kabli Beach is located in Pärmu County, to the south of the West Estonia and Islands region. This long, thin stretch of golden sand, with warm and shallow water, is a safe beach and a favorite among families with kids. Backdropped with a lush forest, you get stunning views everywhere you look. Along the beach, you can find playgrounds for kids to enjoy, and nearby, the Kabli bird-watching point is a highlight for nature lovers. You can find a restaurant, resorts and small cafes in the area, picnic spots if you decide to bring your own food, and a small camping site nearby.
Kakumäe Beach, Tallinn

Kakumäe Beach is located in the capital city of Tallinn, in North Estonia. A small but spacious beach, with brown-ish sand and shallow water. This beach has something for everyone; a playground in the area, the chance to practice kitesurfing, a basketball court and enough space to sunbathe in a quiet spot. In summer, a surfing school opens and you can get your first surfing lessons. There is a restaurant at the left end, and a small cafe on the beach. It gets busier in the evening, when people visit to admire the sunset.
Lohusalu Beach, Lohusalu

Lohusalu Beach is located in the village of Lohusalu, in North Estonia. This is an extensive stretch of golden sand, surrounded by a verdant forest and offering stunning and dramatic coastal views. The water has a beautiful dark blue color, with calm waves and a gentle slope making it a safe spot for everyone to swim. You can practice windsurfing, go kayaking, rent a bicycle, or just sit, relax and sunbathe in the quiet atmosphere. There are no places to eat and stay along the beach, but you can find a couple of small restaurants and accommodation in the village. Being so remote and secluded, Lohusalu Beach is the perfect getaway from a busy life, where you can find peace on an empty beach.
