This beautiful and fashionista place is located around the beautiful Place du Châtelain, in the Ixelles district of southern Brussels. It is truly beautiful, you will be surprised to find a place full of cultural diversity. Delight your eyes when visiting this beautiful museum. This great work of built art is located two blocks from the Place du Châtelain, on Rue Américaine. In it, you will find the house and the study of nothing more and nothing less than Victor Horta, one of the architects of art nouveau. Avenue Louise

How to get there

The nearest airport is Brussels Airport (BRU). Châtelain is a 30-minute walk from the Grand Place in Brussels, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. Alternatively, you can take trams 91 or 92 from the Louise subway station.

When to go

The temperatures are mild from May to October. Summer brings a wide variety of festivals and performing arts programs. In addition, December brings the dazzling Christmas market and the ice rink.

On the other hand, you can visit the family-owned Cantillon Brewery brewery on Rue Gheude: the 5-euro tour includes a free glass of geuze, the classic Brussels beer.

The Max Hallet Hotel in Horta, is undoubtedly an elegant residence built for the lawyer Max Hallet and is recently restored. On the other hand, the former art deco headquarters of Belgian radio is now a cultural center and was built for nothing more and nothing less than Joseph Diongre in the late 1930s.
