Unforgettable places!

On Fraser Island there are attractive places that you can visit, and an excellent example of this is Indian Hedis, a small hill that allows you to visualize a panoramic scenery that turns out to be a marvel, since it will allow you to see the coast and the sea, and if you arrive in season you may even get to see some whales.

Maheno Shipwreck

These are the remains of a ship dating from 1935 that arrived on the island, and is currently a piece of ship decomposed by time. This can be an attractive place for those children who enjoy the tales of pirates.

Eli Creek

Another fantastic place is the mouth of a stream, located on the coast of Fraser Island, and famous because of its wooden walkways where after a long hike, you can splash around a bit without any danger.

Wabby Lake

The main characteristic of this lake is its green-colored waters, that turn to this shade due to the number of trees that surround it, but to get there, you will have to hike for about an hour.

Lake Mckenzie

Being surrounded by white sands and trees is what makes this lake ideal for you to enjoy a full day on the island, its beauty and tranquility are unique and it feeds on rain, as there is no river or streams that reach the lake.

Beaches

On Fraser Island, you will find beautiful beaches characterized by their fine white sand that gives a unique stamp against the other beaches of the world; to enjoy it, you must get to know the best beaches that the place has, such as:

75 miles Beach

This beach is an official motorway for fishermen and is also used as a landing strip. It is the most important place that allows easy access to one of the most visited attractions of the coast: “The stretch of golden sand”. The stretch of golden sand is an official road that functions as a landing strip for those who take flight from Hervey Bay.

Beach of the Dingos

The Dingos are wild canids, originally from Australia. This beach derives from its name, since it is the place of its habitat, that is why it is always recommended that tourists do not come too close or feed them since they are usually wild.

Fraser Island is a wonder of nature. It is practically covered with vegetation, although sometimes beautiful white sand dunes stand out. An island of charms recognized as one of the most extraordinary places in Australia is undoubtedly an island to visit.
