Things To Do In Charter Towers

There are different things you can do when visiting the Charters Towers, here are the main ones:

The Stock Exchange  

It is an excellently restored building in the town. There, you can learn about its history and its origins. Moreover, you will enjoy a walk through its old decorations and its nice gift shops. In addition to being able to take a precious souvenir with you, you will be able to enjoy a relaxing coffee.

Leahton Park

How to get there

There is one main way to get to the Charters Towers from Townsville Airport (TSV): by drive.

You should rent a car and drive 2 hours to the towers. The estimated prize is from $12 to 18 USD.

When to go

The best time to visit this place is during its mild winter months: from April to September. Over there, summers can be very hot.

The Charters towers have some amazing places that you can walk through in an hour or two. Take at least 2 days to enjoy your trip.

Opening and Closing Hours

The Stock Exchange (Royal Arcade) is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. It also opens in weekends from 9 a.m to 3 p.m

You can visit the other atractions whenever you want.

In this city everything has a very good organization, take extra money so you can enjoy their delicious teas and sweets. You will have a great variety of hotels that you can book in advance and excellent restaurants around you.
