The following list highlights some of the best places to visiting in South Sudan. So if you are in South Sudan, I recommend visiting the following:
1. Boma National Park, Junqali
It was declared a national park in 1979 to protect the migratory population of white-eared kobs. One of the small villages is Boma, which can be reached by light aircraft from the town of Juba. This area is mainly populated by two ethnic groups, the Jie and the Kachipo. The valley is grassy and as you climb up the steep granite walls, you’ll see forests of large trees growing between ravines that fill these peaks with life in the rainy season.
2. Kidepo Game Reserve, Kidepo Valley
It is a sea of vegetation that stretches over 1,200 square kilometres across the savannah grasslands and gallery forests of the region. One of the real attractions for aspiring safari goers is the docile and human-friendly nature of the animals. You can expect up close and personal encounters with elephants and defassa waterbuck, all of which roam directly through the game lodges that dot the boundaries of the reserve.
