I thought it would be another aquarium, but nope. I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw. It is one of the largest aquariums in the world. Let me just say that it has 42.8 million litres of water and almost 100,000 creatures of over 800 species in its tank. But the best thing is not its quantity, but the design and organisation of the tank. Honestly, amazing. Outside, the Experimental Maritime Museum is worth a visit. It features the history of shipping in Asian waters, various traditional arts and a huge old Chinese cargo ship cut in half so you can see how they handled their cargo.
18. Trickeye @ Southside, Sentosa
The original Trick Eye Museum was founded in Korea in 2010, and today with three museums in Korea, two in China and one in Singapore, it is probably the funniest museum in Singapore. A visit to the museum is guaranteed fun for a morning or afternoon. The reason is that at the heart of the museum’s approach is interactivity. Touching and photographing everything is at the heart of the Trick Eye Museum experience. The museum is divided into different themed rooms, which feature three-dimensional sculptures or painted panels that, when viewed from the right angle, create the impression of three-dimensionality.
