This ecosystem remains a pristine beauty. This park is surrounded by waters in the Dahlak Archipelago. There are more than 300 species of fish here, along with dolphins, turtles, etc. If you are a diving enthusiast, this is the place to visit as it is one of the least visited places in Africa, you will have the opportunity to appreciate it to the fullest without the crowds of tourists.
2. Sheikh Hanafi Mosque, Mitsiwa
One of the oldest mosques in the country, it was built on the island of Massawa in the 15th century. I invite you to visit it so you can appreciate its architecture with Turkish and Egyptian influences. Undoubtedly, an architectural beauty.
3. Enda Mariam Cathedral, Asmara
This is an Eritrean Orthodox church in Asmara. In its present modernist style, since 1938 when an unknown Italian architect added the upper parts of the two flanking towers. When you admire it from the outside, you can see the bell tower of the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary and the minaret of the Great Khulafa Al Rashidin Mosque in the background.
4. Asmara Great Mosque, Asmara
It is one of the city’s places of worship. The main religions practised in Eritrea are Orthodox Christianity and Islam.
5. Emba soira Mountain, Debub
It is the highest point in Eritrea, with a height of 3018 metres. It is wonderfully inspiring to consider what life was like so long ago as you explore the mountain and be sure to visit the nearby ruins of Qohaito.
