- California Historical Society: it opens from Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. It is closed on Mondays.
- San Francisco Museum of Modern Art: it opens from Sunday to Saturday. It’s normally working from 10:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. On Thursday and Saturdays it works until 7:00 p.m

History
SoMa became a burgeoning pioneer community during the mid-19th century. It started out with low-density residential buildings and gradually emerged with new industrial zones near the waterfront.
