There are different ways to get to the Zamosc city from Lublin Airport (LUZ). The main ways are a train, taxi or by driving:
- By train – Is a 2-hour, 33-minute journey. You’re going to walk around 30 minutes to the Swidnik Wschod station. It costs USD 3-4.
- By Taxi – Is an hour, 12-minute travel from the Lublin Airport to Zamosc. The price estimated is USD 60-75.
- By Drive-In Lublin you have the option of renting a car for about USD 9-14.

Usually you can visit this city any time of year. However, summer brings the best weather. Also, if you want to truly enjoy the city’s festivals, summer is the best time for you.

History
The city of Zamosc arose from the vision of the Polish nobleman Jan Zamoyski in 1590. Similarly, it was inspired by the Italian Renaissance so the architect Bernardo Morando designed what would become a multicultural city.
In it, Armenians, Jews, Hungarians, Greeks, Germans and a great variety of other nationalities were formed. At the same time, Catholic churches, synagogues and even an Orthodox church coexisted in the same square.
Today it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most charming cities in the world.
