How to get there

Ranikhet owes his peace and tranquility to his isolation. The nearest airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). It is a five-hour bus ride from Ramnagar, the nearest railway and the main access point to Corbett National Park; Ramnagar is reached by night train from Delhi. Buses depart north from Nainital in two or three hours, Delhi in 12 hours.

History

Ranikhet Hill is located about 1,820 meters above sea level, on a ridge in the foothills of the Western Himalayas. Durga Mandir Temple

This is a very nice and small temple that is located in Ramnagar, near Jim Corbett Park. It is certainly a very nice place and one of the oldest attractions. It is also a quiet place to visit with the family and rest a little from the safari.
