Best Budget Hotels in Venezuela

In this article, you’ll find some the best budget hotels in Venezuela if you’re planning to visit the country and you don’t want to spend a fortune on a luxury hotel, but you still want to have a pleasant and relaxing stay with your family, group of friends or your couple.

Caracas

1. Eurobuilding Hotel and Suites Caracas

Price from $46

This hotel is an affordable option for those who want to stay in the capital Caracas. In spite of the fact that this is a 4-star hotel, they still offer cheap options for you. For example, the food is really great, and rooms are comfortable, even the Standard ones. Equally important, when it comes to security, you’ll feel safe all the time.

The hotel is nearby a seven-floor shopping mall called Sambil. They offer great services and amenities such as WiFi connection, business center, pools, spa, gym, among others. Taking the situation of the country and the relationship quality-price into consideration, Eurobuilding Hotel offers a great deal.

If you are considering staying here, I highly recommend that you book with plenty of time in advance and ask for a room with views to the Avila!

2. Hotel The VIP Caracas

Price from $47

The perfect spot, especially if you are coming to Caracas for business. Security, which is one of the highest concerns for travelers, won’t be a problem in this hotel. Specifically, it is located in the center of Altamira since they are very exclusive and keen on security. Firstly, the atmosphere is calm and intimate. The staff is really friendly and will help you to change your money. The rooms are well equipped and most of them have good views of the mountains. Definitely one of the best budget hotels in Venezuela.

Margarita Island

3. Hesperia Playa El Agua

Price from $77

This hotel is a really good bargain if you are planning to go to Margarita either for business or leisure. Here you won’t be bored since there are plenty of activities to do. Food and drinks are delicious and varied, and the staff is always willing to help and make you feel at home. Finally, rooms are clean and in good condition, which is always appreciated.

4. Agua Dorada Beach Hotel by LIDOTEL (Playa el Agua)

Price from $77

This is another inexpensive hotel located in Playa el Agua on Margarita Island with a Mediterranean style and a magnificent view to the beach, which is private and very safe. Besides, the pool is really big and the food is great. The perfect place to relax and have a good time with your family, couple or friends. The rooms are spacious and decorated with an avant-garde style.

El Yaque

5. StevieWonderLand

Price from $37

This place is one of the most exclusive and luxurious Boutique-Guesthouses in El Yaque, which is the mecca of windsurfing and kitesurfing. It’s only 5 minutes on foot from the famous beach El Yaque. This beach is very clean and safe and 10 minutes away from the airport. All 7 rooms are different, but at the same time are spacious and highly recommended for their Caribbean style. They offer free buffet breakfast, shuttle transportation service to the airport, barbecue grills on-site and WiFi in the room.

6. Posada Libert Hotel

Price from $37

Likewise, this is another cheap option, which is 200 meters away from the beach El Yaque. They offer 13 well-equipped rooms with wide terraces, WiFi connection, and modern Caribbean hammocks. Specially, the rooms with a panoramic view of the sea are amazing. Without a doubt, it’s the perfect spot for those who want a quiet place near the beach.

7. California Hotel

Price from $59

Truly another affordable hotel in El Yaque that comes with an excellent location to the airport and El Yaque beach. Even though rooms are simple, they are well-equipped. They have comfortable facilities and a marvelous and kind staff. Truly great for vacations either with your family or your couple since you’ll enjoy calmness, comfort and a good service. They have a restaurant that offers national and international dishes.

Ciudad Guayana

8. Posada Churum Meru

Price from $27

If you are planning to go to Guyana City, or more specifically, Roraima, this is the best cheap lodging in the region without undermining quality. It’s perfectly located in one of the most centric sectors of the city near touristic and commercial areas. Rooms are big, comfortable and clean and have free internet and small fridges to store your food. Be aware that they don’t have a food service and you’ll have to bring your own provisions or call a taxi to eat out. They take security seriously, with a locked gate system and 24-hours security. I recommend that you call before arriving because of the gate system.

9. Hotel Mara Inn

Prices from $82

This affordable hotel is right in front of the airport in Guyana city. They have a variety of gastronomic options at your disposition with international, Mexican, Japanese and Italian dishes. If you are considering booking in here, keep in mind that it’s away from downtown. But it’s still a good choice if you are there for a business trip. Finally, they have well-equipped rooms and a good staff.

In short, once you visit Venezuela, it’s possible to stay in hotels that offer good amenities, services, and even safety facilities without spending a fortune.

I would love reading your comments whether you have been at one of these hotels or if you have any other recommendation that you would like to add to the list of good budget hotels in Venezuela.
